Z-Trip Steps To Pauly D . . . On Twitter

Yeah-we wish it was in real life too. Something tels us Zach could flatten that little midget, no matter how juiced he is. But in this case, the reigning America’s Best DJ took the Jersey Shore cast member, Baskin Robins spokesperson and ultimate ruiner of all things DJ related to task for on Twitter for appearing on the ballot for the 2010 Best DJ website.

Of course, there’s a very good chance the purveyor of Guido Anthems doesn’t even know he made the ballot. Looking at this list, it’s hard to imagine who decided that Carl Craig belongs in competition with DJ Vice (we cast a vote for Theo Parrish just to keep our karma good).

We’ve had a week to recover, and we still can’t get over how much fun the second annual IndiOa2i2 party was at Coachella. From ex-Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Macy Gray to Danny Masterson and Yelawolf, DJs and MCs rocked our party from Friday til Sunday while party guests Z-Trip, Rosario Dawson and Katy Perry enjoyed the flawless desert weather.

Z-Trip Cancels Gigs Due To Snowboarding Injury

DJ Z-Trip has canceled a series of gigs, including a performance at SXSW and two nights of his residency at Rain in Las Vegas following emergency surgery to mend a broken clavical sustained while snowboarding several days ago. Also cancelled ar gigs in Dubai and London, as well as Z-Trip’s participation in upcoming A-Team movie soundtrack. He plans on returning to the decks at this year’s Coachella Festival on Saturday April 17th.

The Good Vibrations Festival is a yearly week long festival, February 12th-21st, that takes place during Australia’s summer in the following cities: Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. The artists for this years show were carefully handpicked and notably varied across the spectrum, ensuring a good time for a diverse crowd of all ages; where old school met its new school counterpart. This years festival was host to The Killers, Basement Jaxx, Armand Van Helden, Gossip, Salt-N-Pepa, Friendly Fries, Busta Rhymes, Z-Trip, Kid Cudi, Naughty By Nature, Plump DJs, Gym Class Heroes, Chase and Status, Craze, Dave Seaman, Chuckie, Art vs. Science, BlueJuice, Spinderella, Bass Kleph, Sam Obernik, KillaQueenz & Sydney Local Artists, all hosted my SlimKid3.

Creator of GVF, Justin Hemmes, made sure that there was never a dull moment for the concert goers or more honestly labeled – addicts of good music.The festival took place from early afternoon to late evening providing Aussies and tourists alike with an entire day filled with musical acts housed under five different tents, good food, and of course good drink!
