Lupe Fiasco had his set cut short at an inauguration party for President Obama’s second term, following what one journalist present described as a 30-minute extended performance of his 2011 single, “Words I Never Said,” in which he repeated the lines, “Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist./Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit./That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either./I’ma part of the problem, my problem is I’m peaceful.”

Video of the incident shows Fiasco performing the line in the mic, then cuts to him continuing the song once the microphone was cut off, and finally being removed from the stage. The organizers of the event, Hypervocal, have issued a statement saying:
