The four-piece Australian outfit Wolf & Club perfect a  newfangeled brand of psychadelic rock on their latest release 'Sciene And Sorcery'. Their hearty sound( made by possible by their utilization of two drummers) can be heard best on the thumping album opener "Seven Sevens" where lead vocalist Joel Byrne delivers seemingly cryptic lyrics in a funky Prince-like falsetto. Also noteworthy is the heavily rock influenced "What Are They Running From"--an up-tempo track with a most savory bass-line and lengthy percussive breakdown.
