We didn’t plan this to be video day, but it’s sure working out that way.
This video for the Presets’ amazing new song, “My People” makes walking on the moon look like more fun than when Sting sings about it. Director Kris Moyes keeps pace with all his other awsome videos for Modular artist. Little wonder he’s been cavorting with the Coppolas (Sophia and Roman) and UNKL/Radiohead video mastes Shynola over at the Directors Bureau.
Today has just been a video extravaganza! Anywho, this new video for Sole and the Skyrider Band’s “Stupid Things Implode on Themselves” is major change of pace when compared to the other videos we’ve posted today. It’s a rather disturbing interpretation of where the U.S. might be headed in the future…let’s just hope this remains as fiction.
I’ve got a confession to make: when the binocular lenses come in right at the beginning of the video, my mind immediately associated them with a full, round boot[a]y. Whether that means I’m a tad on the pervish side or that I just picked up on something they intended to happen is beyond me (although I have a feeling that it’s a combination of the two). Although surprisingly tame, where else are you going to find Addicted to Love extras getting down with Spank Rock? Not to mention the most blatant “butter face” line I’ve ever heard (peep Spank’s second verse and listen for “paper bag”). Thank you Bangers & Cash!
