If you’ve been on Hype Machine lately, then you probably already know that Scottish import GRUM wants you to dance. From his many remixes including the luxurious 80s feeling take on Lady GaGa’s “Bad Romance” to his own album Heartbeats out May 18th on Ultra – he is accomplishing just that. Oh yes, and he’s also currently on tour with the Twelves – playing this Thursday the 29th at Santos Party House in NYC and in LA on May 8th at V-Lounge with many stops in between. This all feels quite important – so URB caught up with this electronic maestro on what he studied at university, how he makes music and his belief in hedonism……
Fedde le Grand, the Dutch mastermind behind, among other things, “Put Your Hands Up for Detroit” has just unsuspectingly played one of his biggest gigs in America to date (Electric Daisy Carnival) and is now watching over the 30,000 plus party people in front of the main stage below us. URB catches up with him before he goes off to play in San Diego and Las Vegas.
URB caught the activity at Ultra Records‘ VIP pool-top bash at the Gansevoort South in Miami. Check out what Kaskade, Deadmau5, Larry Tee and Roxy Cottontail had going on.
