Karriem Riggins’ 34-track instrumental hip hop album “Alone Together” is now officially available on CD, LP and digital outlets. His name, synonymous in both jazz and hip hop worlds, currently plays drums for Diana Krall, while working with many other jazz legends, and producing for the likes of The Roots, Erykah Badu, Common, J Dilla, Slum Village and many others.

The vinyl and digital editions of Karriem’s “Alone Together” Album are being released in two parts, “Alone” (released in August) and “Together.” The second half of “Alone Together” was released today for “Together” alongside a bonus Fan Club 45 “12s in 8″ b/w “Analog Days.”

Baker is still a major player, DJing around the world. But a new doc, 808 Tales, co-produced by Baker, looks back specifically on the machine that invented the need for sub-woofers.
