DJ Food behind KLF hoax site

People show their love and admiration in quite a few different ways. Some people might buy gifts, write poems or dedicate books to their heroes, others might spend countless hours creating an elaborate hoax Web site to promote the release of a fictional documentary and soundtrack which if real would equal an unexpected return by said heroes.

That last option was the route chosen by DJ Food’s Strictly Kev and his good friend Mr. Trick who created www.thesoundof.mu to promote the never real KLF documentary/soundtrack The Sound of Mu(sic). Today Kev revealed the project in his MySpace blog.

The Web site is now gone (do to difficulties with the host country) and they never quite got the project far enough along to have reached their goal of fooling the press, but the work they did was extremely …

A very Gorilla Zoe Christmas

Even as the Internuts has flooded with more worthy rap albums in a two week span than we saw in the first six months of this year, it hasn’t really felt like Christmas in these first few days of Dec. Maybe the 65 degree weather and a deadly commitment to avoiding the Glendale Galleria has contributed to our until-now Scrooge-like attitude, but whatever the case, it’s over. In fact, the whole game is over.
