Few things have saturated the blogosphere as much as The XX remixes over the last few months. But when Canadian techno-deity Tiga lays his remixing paws on something, you best give it a listen. The result is highly subdued (we kept waiting for his trademark “1-2-3-4″ that never came), although the remixers explanation of the track almost as poetic as the original material.

What do the creme de la creme of European techno do when they want a break from beats and bass? Apparently many decide to plug into the comical euro-pop of Chilly Gonzalez, the Fiest-producing, Daft Punk-paling, Peaches-partnering piano performer whose first video off his Boyz Noize-produced album, Ivory Towers, features a guest appearance by his fellow Montreal native Tiga as the two compete in the ultimate sports challenge.
