Black Devil Disco Club Track-By-Track

In 1978, Bernard Fevre released Black Devil Disco Club, a seminal record in dark electronic music that influenced Aphex Twin and Metro Area among others. Far from a relic of the past, Fevre continues to release compelling music to this day under the name Black Devel Disco Club. His latest, Circus, recruits myriad vocalist to his disco-goth vision, including Jon Spencer, Faris Badwan of The Horrors, Afrika Bambaataa, Yacht and Nancy Sinatra. Peaches to Release Tribute To Alan Vega

Next In Series of Suicide Covers by Springsteen, Klaxons and Primal Scream 

70-year-old Suicide front man Alan Vega has gotten a lot of attention this summer, mostly due to the sample used on M.I.A.’s controversial “Born Free.” But the embattled rapstress isn’t the only one paying attention to the senior citizen of industrial punk music. Electro femme Peaches will release a limited edition version of the Suicide classic “Jonny” as part of a series of Vega tribute 7-inch records being released by Blast First Petite. …MORE
