This weekend was filled with great joy for many Coachella fans, and great sorrow for many more as the annual Southern California festival sold out all of the tickets for both weekends in record time. Well, here’s Lolla’s attempt to hold down the hipsterness of Chicago this summer. It’s a strong lineup with tons of recognizable bands, but I’m not convinced it’s the festival of the summer. It seems relatively run-of-the mill, but I will say that New York’s Los Amigos Invisibles will be totally cool to see and they bring some much needed alternative flair.
Full lineup below. Tickets are $215 here and it takes place in Grant Park, Chicago on August 6-8.
Kicking off the string of shows in Iowa on April 8th, The Black Keys will perform in support of their upcoming album, Brothers, which is number six for those counting. Besides playing at Bonnaroo, they will take the stage with Pearl Jam at MSG and again in Utah, and then cross the pond for gigs in the UK. Tour dates after the jump.
