This weekend was filled with great joy for many Coachella fans, and great sorrow for many more as the annual Southern California festival sold out all of the tickets for both weekends in record time. After last year’s record breaking sell-out for one weekend, Coachella added a second identical weekend event to double the amount of tickets available to fans. But it seems demand grew faster than supply as music heads (and probably a few wannabe scalpers) swarmed the internet on Friday in the search for tickets to see headliners Radiohead, The Black Keys and Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, along with the reformed At The Drive-In and Refused. …MORE

Radiohead, Dr. Dre & Snoop and The Black Keys Headline Coachella 2012

Coachella has announced their 2012 line-up, which will take place for the first time over two weekend, Apr 13-15 and 20-22. Radiohead, Dr. Dre & Snoop and The Black Keys all signed on for headline spots, along with Swedish House Mafia, Justice, Kaskade and DJ Shadow. The big reunion for 2012 is So Cal post-emo legends At The Drive-In.

Lollapalooza 2010 Lineup with Soundgarden Headlining

Well, here’s Lolla’s attempt to hold down the hipsterness of Chicago this summer. It’s a strong lineup with tons of recognizable bands, but I’m not convinced it’s the festival of the summer. It seems relatively run-of-the mill, but I will say that New York’s Los Amigos Invisibles will be totally cool to see and they bring some much needed alternative flair.

The Black Keys Announce Gigs, Support Album and Pearl Jam

Kicking off the string of shows in Iowa on April 8th, The Black Keys will perform in support of their upcoming album, Brothers, which is number six for those counting. Besides playing at Bonnaroo, they will take the stage with Pearl Jam at MSG and again in Utah, and then cross the pond for gigs in the UK. Tour dates after the jump.
