Modesto's DJ ! hooked up his computer and a pair of Nintendo Wii controllers via bluetooth and now he can do all his mixing while dancing and waving his arms in front of his computer instead of hunched over the machine pushing buttons and clicking a mouse.

He's calling the new art form DJ Wiij and is excited about the possibilities available in wireless DJing. The technology actually works pretty well even if he hasn't figured out a good way to work in the motion capture of the Wii itself. He's figured out how to map all the control buttons to functions in Traktor and is well on his way to inventing all sorts of names for the things he's figured out how to do. The Knife win Grammi, scare children

In America, The Knife are critical darlings with a rabid if small fanbase that will pay oodles of cash for tickets to a rare live show. In their home country of Sweden, they're giant pop stars who win major awards. So how does a faceless techno-pop duo remain faceless when placed under such a bright spotlight?

(Warp) A recent appearance by !!! guitarist Mario Andreoni onstage at a Los Angeles performance by B’more phenom Spank Rock reminded one of where the most difficult band in Googling history stands in the narrative of contemporary dance music.
