The following Crystal Castle tour dates are postponed due to the fact that lead singer Alice Glass broke two ribs in a recent car accident. The tour will continue as planned on 3/14 at SXSW in Austin, Texas and in their absense, tourmates HEALTH will still be playing all scheduled tour dates. We here at URB would like to wish Alice a speedy recovery.
Pitchfork Media has reported that Bun-B has enlisted some true heavyweights for his forthcoming II Trill, which shall drop Apr 29th. The record shall see the surviving half of UGK teaming with Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Mya, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Scott Storch, Rick Ross as well as an appearance from his late-great partner in rhyme, Pimp-C. Currently carrying the Northwest Hip Hop torch, Blue Scholars are polishing up their soon to be dropped EP Butter&Gun$. The six track record shall be dropped strictly on the digital tip with the support of Massline and Rawkus Records.
Despite their musical endeavors and while currently touring with Hieroglyphics as well as their own personal political organizing, the duo shall hop right back on the road to play SXSW and then join GZA starting on Mar 8th in San Diego.

Once Cut Copy had performed and all the scene chasers ran off to catch one last buzz act before last call, we were left with two scrawny kids in the dark, lit only by projections of whale dances, blatantly lipsynching to an amazing sonic stew that sounded like Erasure making a special guest appearance at the Hacienda.
