Coachella has announced their 2012 line-up, which will take place for the first time over two weekend, Apr 13-15 and 20-22. Radiohead, Dr. Dre & Snoop and The Black Keys all signed on for headline spots, along with Swedish House Mafia, Justice, Kaskade and DJ Shadow. The big reunion for 2012 is So Cal post-emo legends At The Drive-In.

Early Monday morning, Belgium’s Tomorrowland Festival drew to a dream-like close after attracting record crowds (the final numbers showed nearly 200,000 attended over three days this year). Sporadic rain could not and did not deter Dutch, French and Belgian fans of electronic music who flocked en masse to the event, which is quickly emerging as Europe’s answer to the Electric Daisy Carnival and now firmly established as a global DJ circuit “must” for fans and industry alike.

Typically, we like to shine a bit of a critical light on events such as EDC, mixing the best with the worst in an attempt to make things even better. But Electric Daisy Carnival has had plenty of “worsts” over the past 12 months, and with nothing but good things being reported from the event’s first foray into Las Vegas (after basicaly being kicked out of their LA home), we decided to just jot down the things that floated our boat.
