It was about a week ago that Apple had announced that they had something up their sleeves that they'd reveal on Sept. 5. Well that day is today, and Apple el presidente Steve Jobs (as always rockin' the black long sleeves and blue jeans) rolled out some new gear today and of course the fanboys are drooling and the haters, well… they keep hating.
Probably the large announcement of the day was the introduction of the new iPod Touch. Sort of like the iPhone, minus the actual phone features. The iPod Touch will feature built in Wi-Fi networking and a multi-touch user interface — just like the iPhone — which makes the iPod that much sexier to look at. Starbucks Entertainment announced today that it will release a CD of 15 original tracks by Starbucks partners. (Um, that'd be employees.) The first-of-its-kind compilation is the result of a company-wide contest that invited Starbucks partners (employees) to submit original solo or band recordings.
