Daft Punk x Coca-Cola Bottles (and new music?)

Music’s most recognized robots (sorry Kraftwerk) have now partnered with the world’s most recognized brand, Coca-Cola, for a limited edition series of gold and silver bottles to be made available in French clubs, and in limited qualities at Paris fashion temple, Collette. It’s the latest move by Daft Punk in what is clearly an ambition to become the world’s most famous robots, period. Of course, it’s gonna take more than single country ad campaign to topple reigning champions R2-D2 and C-3Po, but given this 2009 Addidas ad, their intentions seem clear.

Daft Punk x Star Wars x Adidas x Snoop Dogg = OMFG!!!!!!!

In 2010, you wouldn’t think that advertisers could still tickle us with comical and creative use of nostalgia and celebrities. Then we found this new Adidas clip re-imaging Star Wars cantina scene featuring David Beckham, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, Franz Beckenbauer, Noel Gallagher, Ian Brown, Ciara, Jay Baruchel and DJ Neil Armstrong and all of a sudden we’re giggling like school girls and typing things like OMFG!!!!

Adidas x Darth Vader x Daft Punk (Video)

Fresh to death for 2010, adidas Originals is rolling out a Star Wars collection of kicks and gear. With this video, I would buy anything they were selling… so, good work. Tastemakers from Snoop to David Beckham, Calle 13, DJ Neil Armstrong and Daft Punk are all in this commercial. A real geek will notice the remixed Imperial March.

The Tracks Go Off In This Direction – Adidas Meets Star Wars

Ah look, I have tried to stay away from this one but my god, Adidas just keeps dropping more and more.  Maybe that’s why I love them. The first pair were decent, the rest are just mad decent.  How many pairs of shoes can one have to remember a movie franchise by?  I am by no means a Star Wars fanatic but they have dropped so many new color ways that are not often seen.  Cheers to Hypebeast for collecting all of them in one place for viewing.  Even if you are like me and not a huge Star Wars fan I highly suggest peeping the “Yoda” and the “Millennium Falcon” pairs….
