Hot New Aphex Twin Mash-Ups

100dBs, an upcoming producer and DJ out of New York has recently put together an attractive mix of Aphex Twin blends. With his characteristic, obsessive precision, 100dBs has created an enduring recontextualization of both the ambient insanity of Aphex Twin and the renowned verses of Snoop Dogg, Peaches, Kool Keith and Afrika Bambaataa. These delicate, innovative treats will leave your head throbbing.

You can download the blends for free.

You can also get a copy of his debut album, “The Adventures of The One Hand Bandit and The Slum Computer Wizard,” an ambitious joint project with MC mastermind, Ryan O’Neil.

I would keep an eye out for these two.

One May argue that toys are kid stuff however, I argue that once you’re in plastic form, it’s a true nod that you’re a household name; I May go as far to say that a plastic effigy means immortality. However, why didn’t Kurt Cobain, or Eddie Vedder achieve such a plateau of success? What is it about rappers that makes people want to have a nine inch replica? I personally don’t know. I just know that I'm looking forward to going home and having …

Snoop elaborates on sexual eruption

It's not like the vocoder is new or anything, but since T-Pain proved to have hits and hits for days and days, the vox effect might as well be the hottest virgin on the block that every pop star is trying to bang. Even the Pied Piper of R&B has hopped on board the robot voice train for his “Same Girl Remix,” but Snoop Doggy Dogg? It just doesn't seem right.
