There’s a lot of bands we are excited to see, but we came up with a select assortment spanning the spectrum of genres (and decades). While you will notice Thom Yorke and Muse are missing from our list, that doesn’t mean we don’t endorse them. Au contraire, we do and we know everyone wants the bragging rights to make Facebook updates like “Thom Yorke killed it,” so we just skipped to other folks.

Peep New SIA Tracks from “We Are Born” (MP3)

While the first single off of SIA’s newest release,We Are Born, hasn’t been released yet–it’s “Clap Your Hands” and slated for May 25th–SIA and her crew have streamed a sampler of the new songs. With some help from The Strokes’ Nick Valensi and Inara George from the bird and the bee, the album lands somewhere between dance-pop and those jaw-dropping ballads SIA delivers. Oh and a Madonna cover of “Oh Father.” She’ll be at Coachella next month. Stream and tracklisting after the jump.

Sia “You’ve Changed” (Video)

For the past two years, we’ve been following the saga of this track, starting with URB Next 100 producer Lauren Flax sending us a MP3 of the instrumental. Back then it had the title “Rize Up” and was one of the deepest house cuts we’d heard in years. Then Sia added vocals, gave it a new title, and clubland had a new fave late night track. Now the song has morphed again into an upbeat pop anthem more in-tune with radio listener’s expectations. And even if there’s hardly a kernal of the original left, this song is still the jam.
