‘Just heard the new record from School of Seven Bells, and by way of a few early teaser adjectives, there’s a bit of Adam Schlesinger-esque guitar, specifically the slidey bits on Ivy’s “In The Shadows” — which also sound quit a lot like the slidey bits that put My Bloody Valentine on the map, forever — all of which are good things.
