Today is the day that Beirut announced their upcoming album! I know it’s been a while and quite frankly one can only loop the past albums so many times before you get shouted at. The Rip Tide, according to the press release, is introspective and something about being places where we’ve been; I wonder if that includes the back room of Kmart where you were taken because you got caught stealing some makeup. “Santa Fe” kinda sounds to me like a more soft pop/Natalie Imbruglia-esque “pop” song.
