The second edition to Brownswood’s Worldwide Family compilation showcases tracks compiled by Kutmah, featuring music from Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Samiyam, fLako, Gaby Hernandez, Mono/Poly, Dibia$e, and many others. Kutmah was an integral part of the Los Angeles music community, but was deported back to the UK by Homeland Security. Dublin, Ireland’s All City Records is proud to share the final installment of their LA 10″ x 10 series which featured an impressive list of artists including Exile, Samiyam, Tokimonsta, Take, Matthew David, Dam-Funk, Ras G and others. The 10th edition was their ‘last’ edition featuring Exile and Free The Robots but today, you can enjoy a bonus 10″ from LA #0 this time featuring Shafiq Husayn and Om’Mas Keith of the group, SA-RA. Both artists are major influences and figures in the LA production community and it’s truly a great way to end this well-curated series.

Rapper SelfSays (Charles Vann to his friends) doesn’t take himself too seriously. But fortunately for him, the rest of the music world does. The self-described “cat lover” and “professional face-maker” has been making moves in recent months — collaborating with producers Blockhead (Ninja Tune), Shigeto (Ghostly), Samiyam (Brainfeeder), and Subtitle (Lab Waste), just to name a few. Exile’s recently released remix album “AM/FM” delivers another stellar video, this time combining multiple remixes from various producers, into one music video. Co-Directed by Exile and Greg The Dude, this video for “Population Control” continues Exile’s interest in stop animation, as the original album, “Radio” featured a stop animation video for the song “We’re All In Power.” Enjoy this bugged out video.
