Here is a track off of J. Cole’s long-awaited mixtape, titled Friday Night Lights, which drops November 12th on his website Dreamvillain.net. He explained on twitter that the project was supposed to be a collection of all the freestyles and songs that had leaked, along with 1 or 2 exclusives, until he decided not to half-ass it. In my opinion he is the best new rapper in the game. Enjoy!

I got to see Reggie “Nobody Famous” Perry perform at USC’s fall-fest a couple weeks ago with J.Cole. He had them college kids waving and bobbing to his own renditions of Kanye’s “Flashing Lights” to Outkast’s “ATLiens.“ Nobody Famous recently answered acouple questions regarding the ATL music scene, his new workshop for aspiring hip hop artists, and his Project Generation D. More on this past URB intern after the jump!
Looks like Roc nations first artist, J. Cole, got his hands on Kanye’s Devil In A New Dress instrumental produced by Bink. It’s been a while since I have been anticipating an album from a new hip-hop artist, but looks like I am going to have to settle for a Mixtape , until late Oct when his album drops. On Cole’s twitter page he writes ” I’m in the zone. Fuck it. I’ma do a mixtape”.
