Several digital services (iTunes, Emusic) recently unearthed this early RJ single, which hints at the DJ Shadow comparisons to come on his breakthrough Definitive Jux debut, Dead Ringer (the song was also a hidden track on that record). Featuring a soul singer sample that's 'staring at the ceiling' and missing his baby, the song is a perfect synthesis of sitars, strings, chunky breaks, horns, organ strolling and pure heartbreak.
