More proof that URB readers know how to pick a winner, Readers Poll best rapper of 2010 J. Cole is well on his way to the major leagues, following former early faves like Drake, Jay Electronica, and (if we look deep in the archives) Eminem and The Fugees.

Chi-Town’s pride and joy and your girlfriend’s favorite rapper Mic Terror is ringing in the New Year right. First, Mic heads to Vegas and parties with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rihanna and the like. Not too shabby. Now, the rapper has a new music video coming out this week for his track “Supersonic,” and if you’ve seen the TerrorDome’s past visuals, I’m betting you’re as amped as I am for the awesomeness that’s sure to ensue. This year went by faster than a shadow lurking in the night sky but all’s well that ends well. As the year approaches its close and I sit here with my pringles, I thought about all the songs that were constantly and are still being repeated over and over again in my iTunes.
