I lived about three blocks away from the new West Hollywood library for several years, so I basically got to see all the ugly construction and lane closures as I would bike past several times a week. Now that I’ve moved, it seems the library is getting a much nicer facade, thanks to street artists Shepard Fairey, Kenny Scharf and RETNA. Here’s some pics of Fairey at work on what appears will be a very yellow wall piece. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but that’s a fair assumption.
Lots more photos at Arrested Motion.
