Talib Kweli
Gutter Rainbows
While we’re talking about cool collaborations on late night television, check out this clip of Talib Kweli and DJ Hi-Tek, joined by Estelle, performing “Midnight Hour” on Kimmel. The duo just dropped their new Reflection Eternal album, Revolutions Per Minute, ten years after their last joint venture, Train of Thought.
Talib and Hi-Tek stopped by the show last week to promote their new project. Both of which decided to go in on a freestyle session with DJ Tony Touch. Tune in to Toca Tuesdays each and every Tuesday from 8 pm till 12 am on Shade 45/XM 66.
Now, everyone has a good crackhead story. It might have something to do with a fight out there on the sidewalk on the way home from work. So, if you’re part of Reflection Eternal, it might have to do with your driver…Serious? Yup…

Here’s a collection of new tracks, old favorites and unreleased material from the original Brooklyn/Cincinnati duo. Train of Thought is a personal fave so you know this tape would find its way to the hard drive somehow. Thank Statik Selektah for making it happen along with Nahright for providing the link.
