Parliament-Funkadelic guitarist Garry Shider passed away yesterday from cancer. The 56-year-old musician will be remembered for many things, not the least of which was wearing a diaper onstage. But more importantly, his contributions to music will be known for generations, thanks to both the legendary Parliament-Funkadelic catalog as well as the hundreds of hip-hop classics that were build upon P-Funk samples.
