Now this is how you make a tightly budgeted video. “Supermagic” was a return to form for Mighty Mos but the video left much to be desired. History’s video treatment tells a subtle story of Mos’s rise to fame from his BK neighborhood. Kweli tags along for the ride and his appearance will likely make heads yearn for a new Black Star album. All in all it’s got some nice direction and the images fit the song’s climate pretty well. Did I mention the song is great too? The video’s a good way to spend 2 minutes and change so give it a click.

Aside from starting the year off with a fashion faux pas, as in Cudi’s kilt, this looked like one awesome party at the W. You can hear Cudi exclaim that someone tried to rip his kilt off. How’s that for sex appeal?

Wale kicked it at DC’s 9:30 Club on New Year’s Day, here are three clips in case you were still hungover (which is totally acceptable).

Here’s a collection of new tracks, old favorites and unreleased material from the original Brooklyn/Cincinnati duo. Train of Thought is a personal fave so you know this tape would find its way to the hard drive somehow. Thank Statik Selektah for making it happen along with Nahright for providing the link.
