Lucky to be alive: Atmosphere tour rolls on

Ant wants to produce a album for me so I can tour with him and Rhymesayers for the next 2 years. I like this idea and I hope you guys like this idea, too.

Yesterday was a day off in B-more aka Baltimore, Maryland. We stayed at the Holiday Inn by the airport tucked away from downtown and pretty far away from any trouble we could get into. (Thanx ALOT Randy)

I chilled in the lobby watchin' dumbass reporters on TV chasin' OJ Simpson on the freeway (again) then used the internet, ate a good turkey wrap. I was sharing a room with Ant and Eric but I didn't use it much. Finally I went up there to read some Potter cause I've been neglecting it for that On the Road joint. Ummmm, tried catch …

Stones, balls and zombies

2K Sports has been upping their cred as of late. Not only producing games that are actually pretty dope (All Pro-Football 2K8 was alright, but last years NBA 2K7 was the bomb explosive in the most positive way), but for the past several years they've enlisted indie hip-hop's finest to produce the complementing soundtracks to their games for folks to nod their head to.

In the past they had Dan the Automator, and with this year's All-Pro Football they had Z-Trip which saw all the Roots to Rakim to Redman rapping about schooling suckas on the courts or in the field. In continuing that trend, this year is no different. What they've got lined up for this year's NBA outing is that they've tapped Stones Throw presidente Peanut Butter Wolf to compile B-Ball Zombie War, an album with …

Grammy Hype Hoppin’

Last night was Grammys-palooza-aroo-ella in Los Angeles with a weeklong of pre-parties leading up to the consumate post-party at Hollywood's still-sceney, but not that snobby, Roosevelt Hotel. The evening jumped off in the historic lobby of the gorgeous hotel and was hosted by The House of Hype and featured DJ AM (who reportedly commands a whoping 15-20Gs to spin) on the wheels of steel (and on the keys of an Apple Mac). No sight of Mandy Moore, but AM kept the dance floor crunk for hours as URB cover star Ceelo held court on a nearby couch, no doubt celebrating his win for Best Alternative Music Album. Ja Rule, Irv Gotti, Q-tip and other randoms came through to party (and take a pic with me!).
Celebrities also autographed memorabilia and specialty gifts to …

New Consequence Video

Perhaps Kanye West stopped returning his calls and Maybe Q-Tips is too busy doing Budweiser commercials, but it seems like Consequence's only friend these days is a cartoon midget. Here's the video for “Callin' Out,” exclusive to allhiphop.com.
