Cassia Coming Out With New Single (Video & MP3)

Cassia is a teenage pop princess who is the daughter of reggae royalty. The result of her influential, music-filled upbringing is a gorgeous fusion of rarely-combined genres, that will cause Rihanna to look over her shoulder. Her debut single, “Bipolar” is sure to strike a chord deep within many. She describes it as, “A song I wrote when I was caught at a fork in the road. Admittedly, not very well versed in the vast catalog of music Röyksopp has produced since their inception …

Cut Copy – Zonoscope (Review)

Cut Copy

Zonoscope

Released by Modular

While Cut Copy’s previous releases saw them producing music predominately along the lines of neon-drenched electro-pop/rock meant for the dance floor, their third album sounds like it was meant to take you somewhere much higher. Zonoscope glimmers with a certain sonic presence that sort of showers the ears in idyllic ecstasy – so much, that you’ll probably catch yourself looking down to make sure your feet are still on the ground. This album grooves and glides through the ear canals while inducing a hypnotic bout of movement in the course ...

TECLA feat. Chaz Van Queen – “Technology (Obey City Remix)” (MP3)

It’s about to be quite a ride for “tropical electro pop” vixen Tecla Esposito. Almost a year since her solo debut, the beginning of February finds New York’s eclectic rebel serving listeners up with an extension of 2010’s Strangers In Masks in the form of a pre-release from her upcoming Strangers Revisited. The project, available for download via tecla.bandcamp.com on February 8th, sets out to put a fresh, invigorating spin on songs from the past LP and will include remixes from an array of electrifying producers. …MORE
