Kicking off the string of shows in Iowa on April 8th, The Black Keys will perform in support of their upcoming album, Brothers, which is number six for those counting. Besides playing at Bonnaroo, they will take the stage with Pearl Jam at MSG and again in Utah, and then cross the pond for gigs in the UK. Tour dates after the jump.

Very happy to report that The Black Keys are ready to release their sixth proper album and the follow-up to damn-near-everyone’s beloved Attack and Release. The new album welcomes Danger Mouse as producer on one track (”Tighten Up”), though last time he ran the whole show, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney managed this one on their own. Clearly, they have been busy with the BlakRoc project and their own work; I’m sure they learned many tricks and on May 18th we will find out what’s on the album, Brothers.
