URB Presents: Proper Villains – A 2-Step Journey (MP3)

A mix of something old and new, but all things garage.

Welcome to the nostalgic vibes of Proper Villains’ mind. While he’s been featured on Discobelle and Palms Out Sounds for his mixes and releases on labels like Nightshifters and Southern Fried, New York City’s Proper Villains is a man (yes, one dude) that delivers something more than what usual people get out of a mix. Whether it be dropping fresh cuts from 2000 or 2010, he takes notice of a sound and runs with it from the beginning to the end. Luckily, he was nice enough to do a special themed mix for URB. For anyone in the States who hasn’t discovered the world of UK Garage, consider this an appetizer to a course that might be too big to consume in one sitting. It’s been a long time coming, but here is a 2-step journey provided by the ever-elusive Proper Villains. Tracklist and D/L link after the jump.
