For the past two years, we’ve been following the saga of this track, starting with URB Next 100 producer Lauren Flax sending us a MP3 of the instrumental. Back then it had the title “Rize Up” and was one of the deepest house cuts we’d heard in years. Then Sia added vocals, gave it a new title, and clubland had a new fave late night track. Now the song has morphed again into an upbeat pop anthem more in-tune with radio listener’s expectations. And even if there’s hardly a kernal of the original left, this song is still the jam.
