New Yorker, The
New Yorker EP, The
Released by Complex Collective
As a producer, acid revival is a dangerous road to travel down, except if you were part of the original movement. Such is the case for The New Yorker, a producer who has been around since the late 80s, but is just beginning to release some tunes. The New Yorker's tracks hark back to the days of 303s and 808s but feature signature modern twists like rumbling synths and yes, much crisper production. This EP is a well-needed trip down memory lane.
