UPDATED: The final headliner has finally been announced for the Governor’s Ball. None other than Guns ‘N Roses has been announced to anchor what has already been touted as a ‘stacked’ lineup. ”We’re stoked to be performing at the Governors Ball!” says Axl Rose, “we’re all really excited in GNR to be part of this festival, and with such talented and diverse acts in what looks to be a great weekend!!” With early bird tickets already sold out, you can bet that there’s going to be another flood of tickets sales. Hip-hop fans rejoice, two of the greatest MCs of all time, Nas and Lauryn Hill have announced a joint tour of North America running October thru November. The two were onstage together at Hot 97 Summer Jam, where they tore through “Ready Or Not,” “Lost Ones” and “If I Ruled The World.” The tour is called the Life Is Good/Black Rage tour, which references both Nas’ recent album and Hill’s upcoming single. Art rockers Death Grips, dubstep producer Andy Scott and ambient legend Harold Budd have been added to the already eclectic line-up of 2012′s Moogfest, taking place Oct. 26-27 in Asheville, NC. They join a highly diverse line-up that includes Primus 3D, Orbital, Richie Hawtin, Nas, Santigold, El-P, Carl Craig, Squarepusher, Four Tet and dozens more.
