Hump Day Bumpables

9th Wonder has cats straight merkin’ some shit, without talking about they rims, they chain, or how they sell cane. With everybody missing Murs or Little Brother jumping over these tracks, other rappers can and will continue to make 9th’s solo a thing of beauty. Dream Merchant Vol. 2, which will be released on Oct 9 through Six Hole/Hall of Justus Records. Royce 5’ 9,” rhymes a Brokeback joke in an otherwise applause worthy verse while Naeledge from Kidz In The Hall sounds just as dope over a Ninf beat that he does over the ones were used to hearin’ him over from Double O. Leaving the least known Vandalyzm to “lick shots like tequila” straight out the St. Lou.

Duck Down dunny

Can Koch get the indie label Boot Camp Clik-clakin’ all the way to the bank? The near future releases include mixtapes from Price, BCC, Steele from Smif N Wesson. Buckshot is following Murs and crafting a follow up record with 9th Wonder, called “The Formula.” Word is that a mouthwatering collabo with Black Milk, Guilty Simpson and Sean Price is also brewing. Sean P, the brokest rapper you know, will also be releasing his next solo LP, “Mic Tyson” soon. New artists are also inking with the label like Special Teamz, who’s debut “Stereotypez” has beat wizards Pete Rock, Marco Polo and DJ Premier handling the production. Joining labels like Stones Throw, Def Jux and Rawkus—Duck Down is prepin’ to burst the seams of their indie pockets before Christmas.

Not everything is clear about what he's doing, but in a recent flurry of MySpace Blogs he unleashed some details about two of the projects and hints about the others.

The new disc from Savath & Savalas is up for an Apr release on Anti and it's gonna feature guest spots from Jose Gonzalez, Claudia Deheza, Tyondai Braxton and percussion from Laurence Pike from Troisk. Herren said the hour of music was culled from 40 tracks to find the sound he wanted.

“I felt like showing every side and stage of where a savath + savalas song could go………… from hotel rooms to nice …
