So as the business card pile collects dust and we all wonder where we were while ASAP Rocky got put in a “Vice Grip” and your car got towed in the $7 dollar public lot after 3 am, lets give you the last of the last SXSW articles. Maybe you went to the Fader Fort and hung out with the Bawss Rick Ross or kicked it with Nardwuar , saw Murs on the street, met Trash Talk, or wondered how the fuck anyone ever made it to Beauty Ballroom which was in the middle of nowhere Austin.

In honor of anti-internet day, why wouldn’t we rock n roll with MTHDS, a kick ass party band fresh off tour with Chal 2na, and constantly crushing it on the road anywhere in the 720, 303 and 970.

Yeah. These are the guys you wanna hang with. Partayyyyyy. I’m thinking this could be the anthem, of snowboarding season. And surfing season. And some other action sports.

Some Colorado Flavor- MTHDS and Whiskey Blanket (Video & MP3)

During trips across the world for music afficionados,  many people will tell you of a place called Colorado. With 8 major markets in one state (Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Durango, Breckenridge, Vail, Aspen..probably missing some..oh Pueblo) including some of the most legendary festivals from Red Rocks to the Mile High Festival,  there is no place quite like it that hits home for independent music better than a city that beats out all that radio drama. We cannot mention Colorado without the most legendary venue the Fox Theatre and its most awesome neighboring record store , Albums on the Hill. (respect to Andy)
