French electronic auteur Mr. Oizo is preparing for the release of his third album, Lamb’s Anger, on Ed Banger this Jan. This clip gives the slightest taste of the music, but also pays direct hommage to the 1928 surrealist film Un Chien Andelusia by Luis Bu
Now in its third iteration, Busy P and the whole Ed Banger crew is gearing up to drop some new ish fo dat azz. In this volume of the Ed Rec compilation, there’s even guest drops from Murs and Spank Rock. To tide things over, Feadz prepped this teaser until it officially drops on May 26, which can be found here.

The Parisian duo’s debut album † is sitting atop the electronic album sales charts after one week on the shelves. The Ed Banger associates are currently in the process of finalizing plans for their American tour in the fall. (Word is tickets will go on sale next weekend so expect tour dates before then.) They’ve even just released a remix of Justin Timberlake’s “Lovestoned”.

Friday night in Chicago didn’t go down completely as planned. Before even setting foot in the club the word was on the street that there would be no Mr. Oizo. DJ/Promoter Zebo explained the French DJ’s flight was overbooked, he was bumped and other flight cancellations kept him from making it to Chicago in time for the show.
Current plans call for Mr. Oizo to attempt the trip again in Sep. The show will be at Metro again with a related line up playing downstairs in Smartbar.
Of course the screening of Daft Punk’s Electroma was still happening. Unfortunately it too was a logistical victim, suffering from unsynched sound, fuzzy focus and, worst of all, the film was projected onto a square screen which left a good five or six feet of footage lost into the curtain on each …
