Mr. Lif Announces New Album/Label

Mr. Lif’s music is always filled with a certain level of anger–whether it’s seething rage or subtle discontent, it’s a staple of the indie rapper’s catalog. And yet, Lif the person might be the most jovial rapper to ever step up to the mic. He’s just announced his new album, I Heard It Today, and first that’s independent of his long time home, Definitive Jux. The record will drop on his own Bloodbot Tactical Enterprises on Apr 21, and feature production from Edan, J-Zone, Headnodic, and Willie Evans Jr.
