The lovely music obsessed do-gooders at dublab want to give you a present for supporting them. A decade’s a long time to do anything, but a decade of broadcasting intelligent, (sometimes) experimental music is kinda like working in dog years. So, really, they’re 70. And for any 70 year old to compile and upload all of this music is impressive.

I am a huge fan of the saying "beauty in simplicity" in respects to music. Whether it is lyrics, arrangement, instrumentation, etc. Bands like The Thermals or Spoon have captures this art quite well in the world of indie/punk music. Unfortunately for Michachu and The Shapes, they have quite a long way to go to learn this concept. "Jewellery," their latest album, plays like an act in a high school battle of the bands.
