Mic Terror (@micdaterrible) Wants You To “Pump Ya Fist”

Chi-Town’s pride and joy and your girlfriend’s favorite rapper Mic Terror is ringing in the New Year right. First, Mic heads to Vegas and parties with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rihanna and the like. Not too shabby. Now, the rapper has a new music video coming out this week for his track “Supersonic,” and if you’ve seen the TerrorDome’s past visuals, I’m betting you’re as amped as I am for the awesomeness that’s sure to ensue. Anyways, for all you Mic Terrorists who need your fix, here’s another video the Chi-Town native made recently for the Million Dollar Mano-produced (the man responsible for the most popular drums of 2010) track “Pump Ya Fist.” It should hold you …

“Snow Globe”: Your Favorite Song You’ve Never Heard (MP3)

Back when I was a 16 year-old noob in this “industry” (aka 4 years-ish ago), I had the privilege of sharing an office with a company called We Can’t Stop Thinking, which is made up of a great group of guys who are more than likely response for the design of one website or another you have browsed upon. Maja 7th and FSD Present – The Breakout (Mixtape) (MP3)

Good. It’s finally here! Produced entirely by Maja 7th and featuring appearances by Chi-towns finest, including Naledge, GLC, Freddie Gibbs, Mikkey Halsted, Pugs Atomz, Mic Terror, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Dave Coresh, Phil G, and Juice, among others. Here’s what Maja himself had to say about the project:

Andrew and I stated working on this album around the 4th quarter of last year. I told him I had some beats I wasn’t using and I wanted to put out an album with predominantly Chicago artists. I had done some work with Killah Priest and some Wu-Affiliates and had been traveling around doing beat battles but I wanted to do something big for the city of Chicago. So we started making phone calls and people showed love. This album is about unity and showing these artists’ talents. It was my job to fuse those talents into a cohesive album. The goal wasn’t to make singles or club records. I just made music that felt right to me. - Maja 7th (Major)

Big shout to Andrew Baker and FSD, as well as everyone else who made this thing possible.
