Derived from the tightly knit gang of post-dance, post-punk London-based luminaries like Miike Snow and Florence Welch, Wolf Gang bestowed the polychromatic array of sounds from their 2011 debut “Suego Faults” on eager L.A. audiences last night. While taping segments of their performance for a later broadcast on The Carson Daly Show, the band had the attending audience on their feet for well over an hour. As they ran through their song catalogue, the musical numbers echoed everything from the sounds of hippie disco forefathers MGMT to the out-and-out boldness of power-poppers The Killers (or as some would point out, their own influencers: Big Star).
