In a twist that proves the awesome power of mind, I was thinking a couple weeks back, “Whatever happened to MC Lyte?” when suddenly the news came around that she'd be sharing the bill with the Roots and Big Daddy Kane on VH1's Hip Hop Honors Tour. Lyte holds a real place in history and definitely is there in a lotta fans' hearts, especially those who once tuned into a pre-Rap City BET. I suppose it's an old school concert, meaning you have to dig the old school to care, but I anticipate at least a few mics getting ripped like it matters. Here are the remaining dates:
