Everyone knows Diplo’s the man who brings the model UN to the dancefloor with his Mad Decent taste in pan-national sounds. But he’s about a lot more than just showing the world what moves the crowds Brazil, Baltimore and probably plenty other locales beginning with the letter “B”. This summer Diplo’s heading down under to launch his new non-profit operation, Heaps Decent.

According the announcement about the new project, Diplo’s partnering with Andrew Levins and Nina Agzarian in the Heaps Decent project described as a non-profit music initiative that “aims to connect current popular recording artists with students from underprivileged communities around the world and reinforce the positive influence of music education through technical skill development and public performance.”
