As anyone who has tried to go out on Halloween in Los Angeles can tell you, the traffic can be murder. Expect and extra hour in your travel time wherever you are headed. Of course, that won’t stop 20,00 revelers from making it downtown to the Shrine Expo Center for the fourth edition of HARD Haunted Mansion, the annual costumed rave that has become a staple on the global party calendar.

Electric Daisy Carnival has posted the full line-up for their first Las Vegas event, a mere two weeks before the well-publicized event taking place June 24-26. Over 100 acts were added to previously announced headliners Tiësto, David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia, including Laidback Luke, Bassnectar and A-Trak. Wolfgang Gartner is slated for two performances on two different days, and Richie Hawtin will also be appearing twice, one night as a DJ, and the other doing his Plastikman-Live multimedia peformance. We love it when artists go on the DL for a little while, then one day you wake up and they’ve dropped something hot in your lap like they were just waiting for the right moment while you were forgetting they exist. That exactly what 2007 URB cover starlet Melisa “Kid Sister” Young, just did with this new 13-song mixtape, Kiss Kiss Kiss, featuring guests Nina Sky and Gucci Mane, remixers Laidback Luke and Caspa, and DJ Nick Catchdubs. Guess she wasn’t hiding after all, she was in the lab assembling this mix that we hesitate to call a comeback—but it is nice to see her again.

While Electric Daisy Carnival Promoter Sues City of Los Angeles For $1,000,000, Insomniac isn’t letting their lawyers do all the work. This past weekend, the mega-promoters went down to Texas for this annual Nocturnal Festival, which drew 25,000 just outside of Austin to see artist ranging from EDC faves Armin Van Buuren and Laidback Luke to more Bassnectar, Kid Cudi and Pretty Lights.
