Kosha Dillz gives a recap on how to grind at west coast rock the bells, rocking 3 stages in one day in LA and also hitting the grind time now stage in san francisco with Mad Illz. Highlights include being introduced by the Rza as the “first jewish rapper in the guiness book of world records to play all three stages” and hitting the main stage before Blackstar!

Rock the Bells continues tomorrow at Governor’s island in NY and then heads to Boston on September 10th to finish the 20,000 plus attendee hip hop manifesto that features Nas, Mobb Deep, SlaughterHouse, Childish Gambino, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Mac Miller, Gza, Raekwon, Cypress Hill and tons of other acts. The festival is not to be missed!

Dub trio hits NYC  tonight (11/10) @ Mercury Lounge and it will be frigging awesome. They have been in the studio doing a new album and have been on tour with Matisyahu for quite some time, who will be rocking @ Luckman Fine Arts Complex this Saturday (11/13) in Los Angeles, California.

8.4.2010 EL-P : Low End Theory (Live Review) (Video)

Quite the celebration/release show for “weareallgoingtoburninhellmegamixxx3″. I’ve seen EL-P do a live show a handful of times before, but never a straight beat set. At Cage and Yak Ballz’s El-Rey show last year he was on hand to watch the emcee’s like everyone else, this time was something completely different.

Low End Theory has been a staple of the Los Angeles night life for years. Technically nestled in the Lincoln Park neighborhood a few blocks north east of downtown, it’s dirt cheap compared to, well everything else in Los Angeles. Other than the cost of waiting in line, that is if you happen to get there late.
