We can’t even get our heads around the hipster synergy going on in this tracks. Start with Chromeo, those ’80s babies everyone loves to sing along to. Add vocals by Elly Jackson of electro-pop crossover duo La Roux and now you’re dipping your toe into mainstram pop territoy. Then remix by Duck Sauce (ie A-Trak and Armand Van Helden), the meme masters behind “Barbara Streisand,” and there’s really nothing we can do but submit to the blog gods this post this track.

URB Presents: Far East Movement (Video)

If you haven’t been living in a sealed-off bomb shelter for the past couple months, there is no way you haven’t heard Far East Movement’s hard-hitting banger “Like A G6.” The Asian-American, Los Angeles-based group has collaborated with everyone from Ryan Tedder to Snoop Dogg, and with opening spots on tours with Lady Gaga, La Roux and Robyn, the movement shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. I got a chance to interview the guys before their sold-out show at New York’s Terminal 5. Check it out.
