The Cool Kids – Tacklebox Mixtape (MP3)

We’re still not clear on the whole fishing motif that The Cool Kids have been jocking for the past year, but 12 months after the Gone Fishing mixtape with Don Cannon, Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks are back with Tacklebox, presented by LA Leakers. The good news is, there’s no “Cannon-Cannon-Cannon” samples all over the place.The bad news, it’s been replaced by “The Los Angeles Leakers!” announcer voice. LA Leakers Interviews J. Cole (Video)

Not to be confused with his last outing, J. Cole drops the latest info on his upcoming album along with some hints on a nationwide college tour. No ID is on deck for some tracks for his LP. Additionally, according to this video, he might work with Pharrell in the future so be on the lookout for that.

Of course the Drake comments from the last flick came up again. But it’s good to know there was no ill intent behind what J. Cole said. Then again cats were pretty much grasping at straws if they thought he was taking serious shots at Aubrey. Anyway, this is going to be …
