Little Boots, Jarvis Cocker and Fatboy Slim Go Blue

Little Boots, Luke Pritchard of The Kooks, Jarvis Cocker, Fatboy Slim, and The View get their faces painted blue in the new Oxfam Climate Change video. At the Glastonbury Festival this weekend, attendees can show their support by hitting up the Oxfam tent to get painted.

“Doing nothing is not the answer to fighting climate change,” Little Boots said in a statement. “Go blue, demand that the Prime Minister takes the lead in protecting the people of this beautiful planet and kiss goodbye to climate change. If everyone does their bit we can save the planet.”

FREE!!! edIT’s ‘Certified Air Raid’ Mixtape!!!

edIT (of The Glitch Mob) is giving away some free shit. The young Angelino just posted a free mixdown of his popular 2007 release, “Certified Air Raid Material,” on Missingtoof. The final track, “Crunk de Gaulle” is a definite highlight for the contrast between TTC & D-Styles’ and Busdriver’s style of flow. After an excellent and highly praised debut album, the 'Kooky' quartet from Brighton is at it again with Konk. The headlining songs on Konk are the album's first two: 'See the Sun' and 'Always Where I Need To Be.' Other tracks that impress are 'Do You Wanna,' with a lively dance quality and sexy lyrics, and 'Stormy Weather.' The ...

Inside In/Inside Out

Released by Virgin

Any band of ruffian upstarts that has the gall to brandish song titles like 'Jackie Big Tits' and 'Sofa Song' is obviously reveling in that wonderful adolescent haze so worshipped from Neanderthal days of punk rock'n'roll. But this hirsute Brighton-based quartet has plenty of meat to back up it meat-headed song titles. Having already conquered the UK top 20 with 'You Don't Love Me' (included here), The Kooks display a fresh scrubbed appeal that fulminates with ferociousness, tunefulness, and rhythmic playfulness. 'Naive' shambles over thrash funk ...
