First day of Lollapalooza done and we must say it was intense. In normal BBU fashion, our show started at 12:30pm and we didn’t get out the door till 11:30, running hella late on that “Rapper Shit.” Hopped the train down and turned the train car into our own personal pre party—power to the working class. Kidz in the Hall
Land of Make Believe
Released by Duck Down Records
“The moment we have worked for has come to a crossroad,” said Naledge recently. “We strive for success in this music industry, but we have never taken time to look ourselves in the mirror and analyze what this industry has made us.” The duo has definitely been doing some soul searching, and from the sound of Land of Make Believe, Naledge and Double-O picked up a boat-load of confidence during their journey of introspection.
Not only is the album jam-packed with bass-heavy head nodders perfect for blaring from your car’s stereo system, but it’s also laced with classical instrumentation and a hodgepodge of sounds from various genres, giving Kidz in the Hall’s sound more substance and depth without a single dull moment. And they didn’t do it alone: Naledge and Double-O invited everyone from MC Lyte and Marsha Ambrosius to Just Blaze and Colin Munroe – just to name a few – making for an album that packs an in-your-face punch full of amusing surprises.
Rapper Big Pooh
The Purple Tape
Released by Hall of Justus

The concept itself was formed during the end of European tour mid-flight with Big Dho as witness. A response to "Reservoir Dogs" Mixtape which had HOJ alums Joe Scudda, Chaundon, Jozeemo and Pooh all going in over ...

When this clip ends check out the other sections including explaining what’s in store for Land of Make Believe and the inspiration behind making “Jukebox.”
