For our money, there might not have been a better vocal delivery in all of the ’90s than Missy Elliott’s “Beep, beep, who’s got the keys to the jeep? / Vrrrroooom,” off her collaboration with Timbaland, “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly).” Which sets the bar pretty much impossibly high when these two get back in the studio together. “Take Ur Clothes Off” is the first release of what Timbaland has deemed Timbo Thursdays in 2011. Guess this once a week thing is going to become a thang (thanks Kanye).
You know I wonder where Kanye and Jay get their inspiration for this new song. I mean clearly the song indicates they’re so hard, it’s almost paranormal. Besides that who on earth are Jay and Kanye even fighting or having to prove anything to? I mean it isn’t like you see a bunch of hip-hop people outside of Juliard scouting for ballerinas or orchestras, or people trying to steal Beyonce from her ivory tower. Alas, it kinda does become ham — but this is still a pretty epic song that would be amazing to play the day the American people revolt against the rich. Just imagine it, us in burlap sacks running the suited into the waters all while the eerie ghostly beat blasts in the background, poetic, huh?

I have to admit, Kanye West’s tweets are pretty random and then at other times inspiring. And then they could be intimate and vulnerable to pretty ridiculous at times. What a range that Kanye West has.
Last night on Jimmy Kimmel, Grammy award winner, Josh Groban, decided to pay homage to the infamous Yeezy tweets through this hilarious infomercial. Enjoy the laughter.
If there’s a special place in hell for folks who drown leaked MP3s in tags, then Mixtape Invasion just went to the front of the line for the incesent tagging laid on top of this leaked Kanye West track, presumably a cut from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy that didn’t quiet make the cut for the album or the G.O.O.D. Friday online releases. The cut, which features John Legend, sounds rather unfinished, but given the slew of Yeezy material we’ve received over the past six months, you had to figure we’d be scraping the barrel by this point.
Chi-Town’s pride and joy and your girlfriend’s favorite rapper Mic Terror is ringing in the New Year right. First, Mic heads to Vegas and parties with Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rihanna and the like. Not too shabby. Now, the rapper has a new music video coming out this week for his track “Supersonic,” and if you’ve seen the TerrorDome’s past visuals, I’m betting you’re as amped as I am for the awesomeness that’s sure to ensue. Anyways, for all you Mic Terrorists who need your fix, here’s another video the Chi-Town native made recently for the Million Dollar Mano-produced (the man responsible for the most popular drums of 2010) track “Pump Ya Fist.” It should hold you …
